There are 2 types of Templates - Marketing & Reminders.

Add Marketing Templates

Marketing Templates are used for marketing initiatives or frequent blasts about opening times, client offers, or new team members.

Once you have added Marketing Templates you can use them to customize marketing campaigns & messages (Email and SMS) you want to send to your clients to drive recalls, programs you are running, or promotions.

To Add a Marketing template:

  1. Go here

  2. Or go to Settings > Messaging > Message Templates

  3. Select Marketing

  4. Select Location

  5. Select Email or SMS

  6. Add marketing Subject (e.g. Latest News from Manly Barber)

  7. Add marketing text into the editor

  8. Select the toggle if you would like to automatically send a form with a client appointment reminder and select the form from the dropdown menu.

  9. Save

  10. When sending a marketing email or SMS you can select this template to make communications consistent & professional.

Add Reminder Templates

Reminders Templates are used when you set the reminder settings for an appointment. You could have multiple formats e.g. Appointment reminder, group reminder, or a 'We have not seen you in a while' reminder. Once you have added Reminder Templates you can use them to customize automated messages (Email and SMS) to your clients at a pre-determined time using auto reminders.

To add a reminder template:

  1. Go here

  2. Or go to Settings > Messaging > Message Templates

  3. Select Reminder

  4. Select Location

  5. Select Email or SMS

  6. Add reminder Subject

  7. Add reminder text to the editor

  8. Select the toggle if you would like to automatically send a form with a client appointment reminder and select the form from the dropdown menu.

  9. Save

  10. When setting a reminder from the appointment screen you can select this template (or set it as default in your auto-reminder settings)

Tip: Be mindful when sending templates using SMS as SMS are charged on a per credit (character limit basis) and can become costly if long.

Keep SMS templates short.

Email templates can be longer.

You can also include SMS or Email in the template name so you can easily tell the difference between them, making sure you select the appropriate one for SMS when sending.
