Client Lead Source

Track and report how clients find you with lead source.

BetterHQ gives you the ability to document how your clients find you. You can customize the client lead sources in your settings. Client lead sources are a great marketing and insightful tool to utilize.

To Create Client Lead Source Options:

  1. Go here or go to Settings > Calendar > General

  2. On the right-hand side find the box with the title 'Client Lead Source'. 4 client lead sources are already listed by default for your convenience and cannot be removed.

    1. Lead - If a client has not yet completed a sale, make their lead source option 'Lead' so you can follow up and close the sale.

    2. Online Booking

    3. Advertising

    4. Medical Referral

    5. Social Referral

  3. Add Client Lead Source options by clicking the red '+Add' button on the top right-hand side of the box. A TextBox will appear below the 4 source options.

  4. Type your Client Lead Source option into TextBox. You can add an unlimited amount of Client Lead Source options.

  5. Click Save.

To Record Client Lead Sources for Clients:

  1. Go here or go to the 'Clients' tab.

  2. Select the client that you want to record a lead source by clicking on their name. This will take you to the client details page. You can also access a client's details from the calendar page by clicking on their name if they have a visible appointment.

  3. On the client details page, there are 3 columns of boxes. The Client Lead Source box is in the third column below 'Tags'.

  4. Select the Clients Lead Source by clicking on the arrow to show the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Save.
