Customise your online booking Messages

BetterHQ offers you a multitude of message features for online booking. Customise the messages displayed on your online booking website for your client's ease of use.

To customise your online booking form messages go here or go to Settings > Online Booking > Manage. In the banner there are 3 options: Settings, Messaging and Products. Select Messaging.

Customise Messaging

  1. Selecting a location: any added text will appear under this step in online booking

  2. Selecting a service and appointment type: any added text will appear under this step in online booking

  3. Selecting a team member: any added text will appear under this step in online booking

  4. Selecting a date and time: any added text will appear under this step in online booking

  5. Enter your personal details: any added text will appear under this step in online booking

  6. Add payment details: any added text will appear under this step in online booking

  7. Comments box at checkout: any added text will appear under this step in online booking. By default the comments box at checkout is enabled, this allows the client to add some additional details to a comments box after completing their details. If disabled, the comments box won't be displayed to the client when booking.

  8. Client First Visit Information: if a client selects that this is their first visit, the information added here will be displayed to them on the screen. This is a useful time to thank them, give some directions, tell them what to expect and what they need to bring.

  9. If you'd like the client to let you know they're an existing customer, select the 'Enable returning Customer button' toggle. A select option will appear in the online booking screen for them to select. If not, disable this toggle and this option won't be displayed to the client.

  10. Returning Client Information: if a client selects that they are a returning client you can welcome them back.

  11. Save

Customise Confirmation Page Messaging

Once a client has made a booking online they will be shown a final confirmation screen. You can customise content that they see on this page.

  1. Confirmation Message Title: this might be a thank you e.g. Thank you for your booking

  2. Confirmation Message: you can thank them again, include details of your business, the experience they will have, and get them looking forward to visiting you for their appointment.

  3. Button Text: Custom button text. e.g. Visit our Website or "Check Us on Instagram'

  4. Website Address: You can add a link here to your Website or Instagram pages

  5. Save
